I constantly look at photos of dancers and acrobats, amazed at the things the human body can do. I saw a picture of two dancers actually doing this and wanted to try to capture their energy, skill and grace.

A Note About The Purchasing Process
Thank you for showing interest in my sculptures.
Every sculpture I sell is made individually by me at the foundry. I don’t mass produce anything so it takes a little longer to get them to you, but I can usually get them finished, signed, and shipped in about eight weeks.
The table top sculptures are made of high-quality bronze. Bronze is incredibly strong and weighty and will last forever, literally. I have sculpted the figures in clay and made a mold of them. I take the mold to the foundry, where we will make an original, signed bronze edition of the piece, with a custom patina and a marble base with a built-in turntable.
These are expensive pieces and I want you to be included in the process. Once you put down a deposit, I will contact you to talk it all through. I thought it might be fun to do a FaceTime call when I am at the foundry, where I can show you the work in progress and include you in the decisions about the colors we use to patina the sculpture. (Patina is the process of adding color to the bronze. This is done using a blow torch and different acids to create different colors. Really fun and dramatic). Or you can just leave it to me.
These do require a crate to be built for shipping, and they are heavy. We've included the price of crating & shipping in the listed price though, so you won't have to worry about any of that.
Remember that 10% of the profits are donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, an organization near and dear to my heart. serving millions of children everyday in communities throughout the country and the world. And if you want to support a specific club, I would be happy to make the donation directly to them,
