Life-Size Bronze Sculpture
(38"x30"x78")
Original Artwork by Daniel Stern
Please allow 12 weeks for delivery.
10% of proceeds go to Boys & Girls Clubs of America
The motion, the grace, the strength, the artistry, and the sensuality are the hallmarks of Flamenco. The women who dance this dance can convey a thousand emotions in the single sway of a hip or a turn of the head and it was their artistry that inspired me to try to capture some of that in this piece.
A Note About The Purchasing Process
Thank you for showing interest in my sculptures.
Every sculpture I sell is made individually by me at the foundry. I don’t mass produce anything so it takes a little longer to get them to you, but I can usually get these large sculptures finished, signed and shipped in about ten to twelve weeks.
These are expensive pieces and I want you to be included in the process. These pieces will need to be professionally installed and the location and setting is crucial to making the sculpture really work for you. Once you put down a deposit, I will contact you to talk it all through. I thought it might be fun to do a FaceTime call, where we could meet and you can show me the different locations you are considering putting it. I can explain to you what kind of foundation you will need to install in order to secure the sculpture. I have designed them to be easily installed. Most just require a concrete pad, maybe 6” deep. The sculpture comes with posts on the bottom that will go into the concrete to secure it. These weigh hundreds of pound and safety is very important, especially because young people love to climb all over them.
We will continue our communication throughout the process. When I am at the foundry working on the piece, we can FaceTime to show you the work in progress, and include you in the decisions about the colors we use to patina the sculpture. (Patina is the process of adding color to the bronze. This is done using a blow torch and different acids to create different colors. Really fun and dramatic). Or you can just leave it to me.
I have art shipping companies that deliver these pieces all over the country and the world. These sculptures can be installed with two competent workers and a forklift. We can figure out the costs of those in our initial discussion, to make sure you are comfortable with every thing before plopping down and enormous sum of cash like this. But hopefully by including you in the process., you will see all the craftspeople and equipment it takes to make one of these suckers, and you will have a good experience as well as an original sculpture of mine.
Remember that 10% of the profits are donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, an organization near and dear to my heart. serving millions of children everyday in communities throughout the country and the world. And if you want to support a specific club, I would be happy to make the donation directly to them,
So if you want to buy one, let me know and I will get started on it.
